Funding
There are a few ways to access financial support for our services. Sometimes it can be confusing to know which services can be accessed with what funding. Below are some of the ways that you will be able to access funding to commence services with us. However, if you are unsure, please contact us to discuss which options may be available for you or your family.
For occupational therapy, ask your doctor if you or your child are eligible for a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP), formerly known as the Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC). You will need to access the plan prior to your first session. The plan can be used for up to five individual occupational therapy sessions per calendar year and a partial amount of the fee will be reimbursed to you by Medicare ($55). The amount will increase if you are over the safety net.
Medicare
Our occupational therapy services and group programs are able to provide for NDIS participants that are either self-managed or plan-managed and have funding allocated in the Improved Daily Living support category.
NDIS
Ask your private health insurance if you have extras cover for occupational therapy. They may be able to reimburse a partial amount of the occupational therapy fee. If you are entitled to a rebate, please discuss this with us prior to the initial session as some funds will require us to register with them.
